New Adventures and updates

I'm in the middle of all sorts of outfits and some of these are coming out funky. It pleases me because the fabrics are bright and fun. No sneak peaks yet I'm afraid. We will be busy with modeling though soon that's for sure! 3 of my sets will be going out to be modeled by one of the most adorable wee one's I've ever seen. I'm very excited to see how she looks in them. :)

I'm still also in the planning of taking a couple of my MIL's chairs to the park to take portraits of the kids. I'm talking setting them down on a chair in the middle of the greenest grass I can find locally here in So Cal. Not really "modeling" but actual portraits. The idea started on the first of our two most recent trips to visit Grandma. She has an old wood high chair that was purchased when my Ss was a baby (he's in college now) and every grand child, grand niece/nephew and distant infant friend or relative has used it at some point when visiting Grandma. No tray of course in the portrait as Kate is nearly 6 but the look of the chair itself is what I need. I'm looking forward to this adventure also before it gets too hot here.

Also, Kate has had her first post illness test from her HSP/Strep adventure in February and March. It has come back clear (thank goodness) and while there was one level raised, it's not cause for concern. We have been instructed to continue to take the tests for the next 3 months. All but the worst of the rash have gone. The worst one's are very faded. She can model of course now as the very worst one's are hidden elsewhere. The doctor said a couple weeks and I am guessing she means a couple weeks MORE before they completely disappear. I just try to be careful with her and either put sun lotion or she wears pants. She's self conscious of the one's on her legs and feet but I think it's because she knows they are there. None of her classmates or teacher said anything about them when she wore a skirt to school twice last week. We of course are to contact the doctor and/or take her in again if new one's show up. The doctor does not expect any to and we hope they don't.
